The Urban Dynamic Approach: My Story

My business is a people business.

I love to find out about you and how I can help you.

When you become a client, I’m dedicated to making sure your health issue becomes a thing of the past.

You don’t have to live with those recurrent aches and pains and nor do you have to live with muscular tension that can come from desk jobs or driving for a living.

That said, you do need to want and be ready to make that change.

My passion for helping others comes from helping myself – and seeing the results.

Values that drive me are: Reliability, consistency, integrity, excellence in my discipline and proven experience.

Back in 2009, I was serving in the military. One of my roles was as a rehabilitation instructor.

I worked with servicemen and women who had all sorts of injuries or conditions.

Some had general aches and pains, and others were amputees.

But it was my own experience of debilitating pain which inspired my journey to where I am today – helping people from all walks of life.

It was during my time in the military that I began to experience severe shin pain in both legs.

That pain got much worse – I’d lose all sensation below my knees.

My injury then became more permanent – but I still wasn’t getting any answers.

To this day, I have had no diagnosis.

All I could do was self-manage my condition as best as I could.

Two years after leaving the armed forces, in 2016, I began to feel lower back pain.

I was encouraged to see a physiotherapist.

He said I had what’s known as a disc bulge.

My quality of life suffered as I had sciatica and shooting pains in my back and left leg.

But I wouldn’t give up.

I fought my way back to fitness, step by step, diligently researching and following my own path of dedication and the right approach.

I vowed I wouldn’t let others experience what I went through – and for so long. That’s why I set Urban Dynamic.

Skills I embraced in the military serve me still.

Teamwork, camaraderie and setting and reaching targets have all helped me and my clients.

Remaining active proved a winning formula for me and it’s one I love to inspire and educate my clients on.

These days, I’m also inspired by my clients.

They value and want to hold on to a healthy lifestyle.

Some have acute or chronic injuries that stop them achieving and keep them away from sports or activities they love.

I can show you exercises and techniques to help your journey to complete recovery, mobility and performance – suitable for wherever you are now – but that can also be a foundation for more improvement as the aches, pains or injuries get better.

Longevity is key.

By investing in regular time with me, you’re investing in your own present and future health.

And there really isn’t any better investment than that.
